Belle is a tattoo artist originally from London, based in San Diego California. She does heavy blackwork, dark ornamental and dark illustrative tattoos. Her main focus is marbelling or suminagashi style tattooing. She travels and does guest spots in London, Berkeley, Philadelphia and NYC.

I reached out to Belle to do the blackwork behind my leg tattoo and couldn't be happier. She was friendly, professional, and it was immediately clear on starting that she was an expert in her craft. I was worried about the black not holding or being uneven, but it came out smooth and made me love parts of my leg I never thought I would care about (see second photo, I stare at it all the time). If you are looking for blackwork, I would absolutely recommend Belle.
Belle is a wonderful artist to work with! Very easy to communicate and collaborate with when designing the tattoo. Been seeing her my sleeve, and I have 0 complaints. She makes sure I’m alright both during and after our sessions! Highly recommend Belle !!!
To hold your spot, I usually require a $250 deposit. This deposit will be applied to the final cost of your tattoo and is paid by card through Tattoodo when you book the appointment. I offer financing options through Klarna, allowing you to spread out the deposit cost if needed.
Larger projects are booked as day sessions at a fixed rate of $1000 (4 hours of work) I do longer sessions for people traveling from out of town on request.
Here’s a verrrrry rough guide: • Half sleeve: 2-3 sessions • Full sleeve: 5-6 sessions • Half leg: 3-4 sessions • Full leg: 6-8 sessions • Back piece: 6-8 sessions The amount of sessions really depends on what the design is and the size of the body part we will be tattooing. I am able to give a more accurate price estimate after discussing your individual idea
Several factors influence the time needed: • Placement on the body • Level of detail • Size of the piece • How your skin takes ink
I’ll send you the design 3 days in advance so you can check it out and make sure it’s exactly what you envisioned. If you have any changes you would like to make don’t hesitate to let me know and we will work together until you have the outcome you are happy with. Some designs will involve freehand tweaks or changes on the day. With whatever adjustments need to be made I will ensure you are satisfied before we begin the tattoo.
Yes, maximum 3 consecutive days to ensure proper healing.
If you need to reschedule or cancel, please try to let me know 48 hours in advance. Deposits are non refundable. If you need to reschedule your appointment your deposit will be moved to the new one.
For the remaining balance after the deposit you can pay with cash or through Zelle/Venmo/Paypal or Bank Transfer. My preferred payment is cash. I also offer financing options through Klarna, so that you can spread out your payment over time should you want to
